Renewal of the HIV Modelling Consortium

25 September 2013 | Ellen McRobie

We are pleased to announce that the HIV Modelling Consortium has received renewed funding from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation for a further four years

In the next four years we will continue to address up to two work packages per year, in addition to taking a deeper look at modelling methodology and the incorporation of economic costing approaches. We will continue to operate largely in a similar way to the initial funding period, but with the addition of a number of key partners with whom we will collaborate frequently.

If you would like your modelling team to be considered for inclusion in any future work packages please do complete our online survey to inform us of your modelling expertise. We review this database prior to undertaking any new work to ensure that we are collaborating with a broad network of modellers already engaged in the topic.

Request for funding applications will still be issued and reviewed by the same process as the initial funding period. Notifications of funding opportunities will be distributed via email and also listed on the HIV Modelling Consortium Request for Funding Applications page.

We will shortly be looking to hire two new full-time team members to join the HIV Modelling Consortium for the next four years (a Research Associate and an Administrator). These posts will be advertised on the Modelling Consortium website, www.jobs.ac.uk and the Imperial College London website.
